National Junior Honor Society is a national recognition program found in every state in the United States. It gives students an opportunity to significant learning experiences especially within the community. Students must meet the five criteria of scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship and character throughout their eighth grade year. Members are selected by a Faculty Council and inducted at the end of their seventh grade school year. Members should be in the eighth grade, maintain a cumulative average of 90 in their core classes, must be enrolled in at least 2 Pre AP classes their 8th grade year, and complete 10 hours of community service.
